Food of Love:
Shakespeare’s Love Scenes and Songs
July 10 - 13, 2008
Food of Love is a unique performance, tailored to each location it visits. Bringing together some of Shakespeare’s most romantic love scenes, this is an evening that will delight both avid theatregoers and novices alike.
Under the direction of Abigail Anderson, who has worked at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company, four professional actors bring Shakespeare’s scenes, songs, and speeches to life, working in and around the audience to create an unforgettable and intimate theatre performance.
The show features original songs by both established and up and coming talents from the US and the UK.
Food of Love is suitable for the whole family, ages 8 upwards.
The performance lasts approximately one hour with no intermission and takes place rain or shine at each venue. See performance schedule for details of when and where to find us.
